De drie zeilen om de onderkant van het hok dicht te zetten is van mooi materiaal. Raad: Als je nu toch drie zeiltjes maakt voor die onderkant, maak er dan twee zijkanten en één achterkant van. Mooi op maat.

Zeil is goed doorzichtig en van mooi materiaal. Heb het nog maar pas maar het ziet er stevig uit. Zou voor mij de lengte van de hele ren mogen hebben.

I love the clear cover for the extended run, much more light for the chickens and a larger area that stays dry. We had snow a few days ago and they had a dry run. The quality of the metal rings to attach the bungees to is bad. They started to rust about three days after I put the cover on the run. The cover itself is from sturdy looking thick plastic, so I am hoping that will stay good for some years to come. One bungee was missing, but I got a packet of them in the mail right away after complaining. I think the company has great products but should take greater care that their suppliers do not cut corners. Pricing the products like high end products, which they are in design and most of the execution, brings with it the obligation to strive for perfection but there are always little things that are off. The company sets them right immediately when you complain, but they should prevent the problems happening in the first place. Having said that, the chickens and I are still very happy with the eglu cube and it is so easy to keep clean and parasite free, that i would still recommend it.

Gekocht om de voliere mee af te schermen. Stevig en sterk plastic, dat tot dusver al een paar stormen heeft doorstaan. Snelle levering.

Ik heb sinds deze zomer een Eglu Go Up en zocht nog een goede manier om de ren wat droger te maken, nu het toch slechter weer wordt. Ik kwam er achter dat de Heavy Duty Cover voor de Cube redelijk goed over de ren van een Go Up past. Aan beide kanten kom je slechts 20 cm te kort, als je de Cover er in de lengte over een spant. Geeft toch een fijn gevoel, wetende dat deze winter mijn kippen lekker droog kunnen zitten.

Ik heb de hele ren wind- en regenvrij gemaakt met enerzijds de groene cover ( volledige lengte ) en de doorschijnende cover. De kippen kunnen nu volledig in het droge zitten en krijgen toch het nodige licht binnen. Op die manier zijn ook de eetbakken vrijwaard van nattigheid en de kippen houden er van: het is hun veilige haven voor als het weer bar slecht is.
